Job Description:

Electrical engineering Manager for an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of alternative fuel systems and hybrid drive systems for automotive applications, has an opening for an Electrical Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
-Lead electronic engineering group
-Provide technical interface between engineering and marketing, service and production departments.?
-Design release authority for automotive electronic products
-Lead projects from inception to the production stage
-Assist in project planning (schedule, budget, specifications, etc.?)
-Ensure that new product meets all customer requirements
-Ensure that project milestones and product launch meet defined cost and schedule
-Delegate and supervise various product development tasks
-Report project status to upper management
-Interface with the customer to define requirements, report status or deliver proposals
-Adopt and implement the Quality Assurance Procedures.?
Requirements:
-Requires ability and experience to lead a development team from concept to production
-Coordinate development actions with Project Management, Engine Engineering and Manufacturing
-Digital design using discrete logic, microprocessors, SRAM, flash memory and program.? logic
-Analog design for signal conditioning, switching power supplies and sensor development
-Application knowledge of 8 bit and 32 bit microcontrollers (68332, 68376, 68HC11, 80C51, PIC)
-Assembly language programming experience
-Effective use of lab equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, function generator and spectrum analyzer
-Design for quality and manufacturability
-Design for EMC/?EMI qualification
-Knowledge of the printed circuit board design software
-Manufacturing knowledge of printed circuit board assemblies
-Strong verbal and writing communication skills, attention to detail
-This candidate should possess a strong desire to work hands on with system hardware (may involve working on and operating motor vehicles or flow control equipment)

Education and Experience:
BSEE
Min.? 6 years experience designing products for industrial or automotive control
Product development experience with an automotive electronics supplier
Experience using schematic capture software
Experience using Microsoft Word and excel
Experience using Microsoft Project
Experience using PADS Power PCB, PADS Power Logic, Pspice software
